Between paying for the performance, judges, and renting a floor, our costs for our second home competition will run into thousands of dollars. That said, we are offering the opportunity for alumni, parents, and friends to give back by becoming sponsors of the first annual Big Apple Dancesport Challenge. Becoming a sponsor also allows businesses to advertise to hundreds of students, competitors and spectators, and associate their brand with the world of competitive ballroom and latin dance. Sponsorship options and benefits are listed below.

Sponsor info:

  1. Sponsors at the Gold Level and above will have their names recognized throughout our marketing materials (flyers, postcards, emails, posters) distributed in the months leading up to December, and sponsors at all levels will be recognized in the competition program distributed to competitors and spectators. Recognition will also be made by our MC throughout the competition. Please submit your company logo or names to cbw2104@columbia.edu by 10/15 to be included on publicity materials.
  2. Sponsors at the Gold Level and above will be presented with a pair (2) of complimentary tickets to our Special VIP Guests section with a better view, more spacious seating, as well as snacks and refreshments throughout the evening performance session. Sponsors at these levels will also have the chance to go backstage and meet the judges.
  3. For Pre-Championship and Championship level sponsors, a full page ad will be made available in the competition program for no additional charge. Please submit your full page ad to cbw2104@columbia.edu by 11/15 to be included in our program.
