Big Apple Dancesport Challenge 2012
Any competitors who won tickets/registration to the American Style Congress
and New York Dance Festival as part of their scholarships must advance register by
Friday (February 8th) in order for their voucher to be valid!
The Columbia University Ballroom Dance Team is proud to announce that
Slawek Sochacki and Marzena Stachura and Emmanuel Pierre-Antoine and Liana Churilova
will be performing at the Big Apple Dancesport Challenge 2012.

The Big Apple Dancesport Challenge 2012 will be will be a 1.5 day event held on December 1st and 2nd, 2012.

5-hour Energy is going to be handing out free samples of their energy drinks at BADC 2012 between 11 AM to 6 PM on Saturday, Dec. 1 and 8 AM to 12 PM on Sunday, Dec. 2!

Slawek and Marzena will be teaching during their stay in NYC for the competition.
The lessons are $165 each and will be held on Friday night and Saturday morning at The Ball NY.

Winners in all open events will receive crystal Columbia lions from Preciosa/Northeastern Importing.
Crystal vouchers from Preciosa/Boutique Staykova will be given to the top three couples in all Open events,

This year, the Starry Night Winter Showcase at BADC is unprecedented (for us). After five years of only featuring couples in the two International styles, we decided that we were getting predictable and should change things up this year. America is unique and special in that we have four styles of competitive Dancesport, while most countries only have two... how cool is that? In an effort to properly embrace the diversity of American Dancesport, and to build awareness and appreciation for all the talented dancers our country has to offer, we are producing a showcase that is exclusively American Style. This year we have hired two of the most elite professional couples in the Rhythm and Smooth fields to dazzle our spectators with their dancing. We hope you are as excited as we are to watch Emmanuel Pierre-Antoine and Liana Churilova and Slawek Sochacki and Marzena Stachura perform at the 2012 Big Apple Dancesport Challenge!
